Wedding & Event Planning — South Florida

Real Planning Support For Events That Actually Go As Planned

You've got a date, a vision and a hundred moving parts. Our planning service gives you a dedicated expert who keeps every decision, vendor and deadline organized — from your first meeting to the final toast.

Mary Isern, our expert planner, guides your project from day one with structure, design sense and calm decision-making. Your event-day coordinator then takes over execution — sometimes that's Mary, sometimes it's another lead from our team, but it's always someone who already knows your event inside and out.

Meet Your Planner

Led by Mary Isern, Founder & Creative Director of VNV Events

Mary brings structure, design sense and calm decision-making to every project she leads. As Founder and Creative Director of VNV Events, she treats your event with the same care and attention she's built into every part of the company — not a checklist handed off to whoever's available that week.

This page exists because planning and coordination solve two different problems. Planning is the strategic work that happens in the weeks and months before your event: budget, vendors, timeline, decisions. Coordination is what happens on the actual day, when someone needs to be watching every detail so you don't have to.

  • Planning guidance led directly by Mary Isern
  • Clear decisions on budget, vendors and timeline — no guesswork
  • A dedicated coordinator assigned for your event day
  • A process built around how events really unfold in South Florida
Every planning package already includes 8 hours of event-day coordination, so you're never handed off to a stranger on the day that matters most.

Backed By Real Project Management, Not Just A Notebook

Mary leads every creative and planning decision. Behind the scenes, Jonathan Moreno — VNV's Project Management & Technology Advisor and the builder of Ophyra, the platform that runs the company's operations — keeps your budget, vendors and timeline tracked in one system instead of scattered across emails and spreadsheets.

Understand the Difference

Planner vs Coordinator — Which One Do You Need?

Most planning disasters don't come from a bad vendor — they come from no one owning the timeline. Here's exactly where each role starts and stops, so you can choose with confidence.

Event Planner

Right for you if you haven't finalized vendors, don't have a working budget yet, or want someone steering decisions from the start.

  • Budget planning and realistic timeline direction
  • Vendor recommendations and hands-on decision support
  • Guest list and logistics guidance as needed
  • Consulting hours spread across your entire planning window
  • Includes 8 hours of event-day coordination

Event Day Coordinator

Right for you if your vendors are booked, your vision is set, and you need one person making sure it all comes together on the day.

  • Vendor arrival and setup oversight
  • Timeline execution and real-time issue management
  • Guest assistance and event flow support
  • Full focus on the one day that can't be redone
  • Available in 6, 8 or 10 hour packages

Still not sure which one fits? Call (305) 204-5427 — we'll ask a few questions and tell you honestly which one your event needs. No upsell.

How This Works

A Three-Step Process Built For How South Florida Events Actually Move

No 40-page workbook, no generic templates. Just the right amount of guidance at the right time, with a clean handoff into execution.

  1. Book your planning level. Basic, Gold or Premium give you different amounts of consulting time, while event-day coordination stays included in every planner package.
  2. Work directly with Mary on every major decision. Budget, vendors, timeline — the goal is fewer surprises and less last-minute stress.
  3. Hand off to your event-day coordinator. They already know your plan, your vendors and your timeline, so nothing gets assembled last minute.
Why Couples & Companies Choose VNV

What Other Planners Won't Tell You They're Missing

Planning is easy to promise and hard to deliver. Here's what actually backs it up.

Real Project Management

Every event runs on the same project-management discipline and technology that runs the rest of VNV — clear milestones, defined decisions and a real timeline, not a loose to-do list.

200+ Events A Year

We produce close to 200 events annually across Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach, so the surprises that trip up smaller planners rarely catch us off guard.

One Team, Start To Finish

Planning, catering and coordination all run through the same company, so nothing gets lost in translation between separate vendors.

Common Questions

Before You Call, You Might Be Wondering...

How far in advance should we book a planner?

Ideally 6–12 months out for weddings, especially during peak season (November–May). Corporate and social events can often work with less notice — call us and we'll tell you honestly if your timeline works.

We already booked a few vendors — can we still get a planner?

Yes. Most clients come to us with at least one vendor already booked. Your planner works with what you have and fills in the gaps from there.

Can we upgrade our package later?

Yes. Many clients start with Basic and add hours or move up to Gold or Premium as the event gets closer and more decisions come up.

Is the event-day coordinator always Mary?

Not always. Mary leads the planning process for every client, but your event-day coordinator is whoever on our team is the best fit for your specific event and date.
