It depends on the property, the setup and the city services involved. The City of Doral handles special-event permitting through its Planning and Zoning Department and defines special events broadly, including gatherings held in open-air spaces or venues, under tents or with temporary structures. For corporate events on business premises that do not require city services, the City's application materials direct the sponsor to submit event details to Planning and Zoning at least 30 days before the event. Confirm your specific event directly with the City. VNV Events does not apply for or guarantee permits.
Covered pavilions and indoor multi-purpose rooms at parks such as Doral Central Park, Doral Legacy Park, Doral Glades Park and Doral Meadow Park are reserved through the City of Doral Parks and Recreation Department, and each space is listed with its own maximum occupancy and resident or non-resident rate. Ask Parks and Recreation directly whether outside catering, onsite cooking equipment, a tent or a generator are allowed under your reservation and whether they require separate review before you commit to a date.
