Events on City of Palm Beach Gardens property are permitted through the Recreation Department under Code of Ordinances Chapter 46-6 and, when applicable, Chapter 78-187 for special events. The City's special event permit is reviewed by Police, Fire, Planning and Zoning, and Risk, and the application asks for property owner authorization, a site plan, an event narrative, insurance and a list of vendors; the published fee is $160, which non-profit organizations can ask to have waived. Requirements and fees are set by the City and change, so confirm your specific event directly with the City. VNV Events does not apply for, obtain or guarantee permits.
Any exclusive use of a City pavilion requires a permit, and so does any group of 12 or more. Pavilions may be booked up to 60 days in advance and no less than 48 hours in advance, and some rental windows include setup and breakdown, such as the four-hour block at Gardens District Park.
