It depends on where the event happens. West Kendall is unincorporated Miami-Dade County, so approvals run through County departments rather than a city hall. A Miami-Dade Parks Special Events Permit applies to special events held at County-owned park and recreation facilities, while smaller gatherings booked as a reservation through the park manager are handled differently. Tents and other temporary structures generally require permits from the Building Department along with a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue inspection, and site plans are part of that review. Events at private homes and HOA clubhouses usually turn on venue and association approval instead. Confirm your specific event with the County and your venue. VNV Events does not apply for or guarantee permits.
