It depends on the property and the setup. The City of Weston applies special-event permits to organized events on public property and to qualifying events that involve onsite cooking or mobile vendors. For events on non-residential private property, applications must be made at least 30 days before the event date, and tents or other temporary structures and electrical use may require a separate building permit. Confirm your specific event directly with the City. VNV Events does not apply for or guarantee permits.
Reserved shelters at Weston Regional Park and Emerald Estates Park can accommodate food trucks, but adding food trucks, tents, vendors or generators requires special-event review by the City. Check both the shelter reservation and the review process before you commit to a date.
