Covered service and cooking area
The pasta station cooks and finishes plates on site, so the working area needs solid cover: a roof, a lanai, a covered terrace, a pavilion or a tent approved for that location. An uncovered stretch of turf is the most common reason a station has to be moved on the day.
Venue-approved safe power
Confirm with the venue, or with the Town for a park pavilion, what power exists at the intended station position and whether it may be used for catering equipment. The station's actual power requirements are stated in your proposal rather than assumed on site, and a generator may need its own review at Town locations.
Load-in path
Map the route from the unloading point to the station: gate widths, elevator access, stairs, curbs, grass runs and total distance. Clubhouse and park setups often mean a longer carry than expected, which affects setup timing and should be flagged before the event date.
Guest queue and flow
Leave room for guests to line up without blocking the bar, walkways, restrooms or the dance floor. For larger counts, plan the approach from one side and the exit from the other so plates keep moving and the line does not double back on itself.
Service timing
The package includes two hours of live-chef service. Fix the start against the run of show so the station does not open during toasts or a program block, and remember that sunrise-to-sunset park hours can compress the realistic window for an outdoor Town location. Any change to the window is confirmed in writing.
Venue approval
Some venues, clubhouses and HOA community rooms restrict onsite cooking, open flame, equipment placement or vendor load-in hours. Get written confirmation that a live cooking station is permitted in the position you have in mind before the layout is locked.
Weather fallback
South Florida heat and afternoon storms are a planning input, not a surprise. Identify an indoor or covered alternate position for the station, and agree in advance who makes the call to move it and by what time.
Coordination
Share the floor plan, timeline, venue or park contact and any Town conditions already issued, so the station position, power and service window are settled before the final proposal. Contact the team with the details you already have.
