Covered cooking and service area
Live cooking has to sit under solid cover, whether that is a roof, a lanai, a covered terrace, a clubhouse room or a tent approved for the location. Open sand or open turf with no cover is the most common reason a station gets repositioned on the day.
Venue-approved safe power
Confirm with the venue what power is available at the station position and whether it may be used for catering equipment. The station's actual power requirements are stated in the proposal rather than assumed on site, and generators may trigger additional review at City or park locations.
Load-in path
Map the route from the unloading point to the station: gate widths, service doors, elevators, stairs, curbs, sand or grass runs and total distance. Marina, waterfront and gated-community addresses often add a gate procedure or a vendor arrival window, so flag those before the event date.
Guest queue and flow
Leave room for guests to line up without blocking bar access, walkways, restrooms or the dance floor. For larger counts, plan the approach from one side and the exit from the other so the line keeps moving while plates are being finished.
Service timing
The package includes two hours of live-chef service. Fix the start against the run of show so the station is not opened during toasts or a program block, and confirm any change to that window in writing rather than on the day.
Venue approval
Some venues, clubhouses and City facilities restrict onsite cooking, open flame, equipment placement or vendor load-in hours. Get written confirmation that a live cooking station is permitted in the intended position before the layout is finalized.
Weather fallback
Coastal wind and afternoon storms are planning inputs in Dania Beach, not surprises. Identify an indoor or covered alternate position for the station, and agree in advance who makes the call to move it and by what time.
Coordination
Share the floor plan, timeline, venue contact and any permit conditions early so the station position, power and service window are settled before the final proposal. Contact the team with the details you already have.
