The station

What the pasta station includes

A single station handles a room with mixed appetites, because each plate is built to order instead of pre-set: lighter or vegetarian on one plate, a fuller portion on the next. This page covers what changes when the event sits inside a private, access-controlled village. The complete service overview lives on the South Florida pasta station page.

Where it fits on the island

  • Private residence celebrations hosted by the property owner or an authorized representative
  • Milestone birthdays, anniversaries and family gatherings
  • Showers, rehearsal dinners and seated-plus-station formats
  • Small-format hospitality and client gatherings held on private property
  • Indoor rooms or covered outdoor terraces where a chef can work under solid cover

Suitability depends on the property, the power available at the station position and the approved setup area, all of which are reviewed before the proposal is finalized. If property authorization does not come together in time, the same station travels to surrounding Miami-Dade communities. If you are coordinating for a client or a family office, the planner resources page covers how we work alongside outside planners.

Build the menu

Three choices shape the whole station

Selections are made conditionally against what is available for your date and confirmed in writing before the event.

Pasta selection

Choose three pasta varieties. Familiar shapes or filled pasta can be considered depending on the menu direction and what is available when you book.

Sauce selection

Choose three sauces and balance them so the station reads differently from one end to the other, typically one lighter and one creamier direction if those options are available for your date.

Proteins and dietary needs

Two protein selections are included. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy-related requirements should be raised during selection so they can be reviewed and confirmed in the proposal.

Indian Creek Village planning

Authorization first, then the date and the menu

Indian Creek Village is residential and access is tightly controlled. On this island the deciding factor is rarely the menu: it is written permission from the property and a clear answer on how outside vendors, vehicles and live cooking equipment are allowed in. Sort that first and the rest of the planning is ordinary.

There is no public event program to book

  • The official Village website does not publish a general public event-rental program, so do not build the pasta station around a public venue or a bookable municipal site.
  • Every event needs a private property you are authorized to use, with that authorization in writing from the owner or their representative.
  • Access to the island is controlled. Being hired as your caterer does not create vendor access on its own, for us or for anyone else you bring.
  • Start at the official Indian Creek Village website and confirm current requirements there rather than relying on third-party summaries.

Confirm these directly with the property and the Village

  • Vendor rules. Who is permitted to work on the property, what documentation is required and how far in advance staff names must be submitted.
  • Security and access. How team members and vehicles are cleared, what identification is needed and the cut-off for adding someone to the list.
  • Arrival and load-in. Where vehicles may stop, where equipment can be staged and which time windows are allowed for arrival and breakdown.
  • Temporary equipment. Whether tents, generators and live cooking equipment are permitted at all, and what review or approval applies before they arrive.
  • Get the answers in writing from both the property and the Village before you commit to a date or send invitations.

VNV Events does not apply for, obtain or guarantee permits, property authorization or island access, and we make no claim about what will be approved. Those approvals belong to the host, the property or your planner, and requirements change, so verify them for your specific date, property and event type. What we provide is accurate setup detail — equipment list, power requirement, staff count, vehicle and timing information — so you can answer the property and the Village correctly the first time.

Where a tent or temporary cover is part of the plan and the property allows one, review it early alongside any separate approval it may require. See tent and event rental options.

Site logistics

What a live station needs on site

A pasta station is working cooking equipment placed in a guest-facing spot. On a controlled residential island, a short walkthrough plus one conversation with the property answers nearly all of it before anything is signed.

Covered cooking and service area

Live cooking needs to sit under solid cover: an interior room, a lanai, a covered terrace, or a tent if the property permits one. Uncovered placement on open lawn is the most common reason a station has to be repositioned on the day.

Safe, venue-approved power

Identify the nearest usable power source, how far it sits from the station position, and whether the property permits its use for catering equipment. The actual requirement for your station is stated in the proposal rather than assumed on site, and a generator, if one is even needed, may require separate approval.

Load-in path

Map the route from the permitted stopping point to the station: gate clearance, distance, stairs, thresholds, elevators and any grass or gravel runs. A long or restricted path affects setup timing and should be flagged well before the event date.

Guest queue and flow

Leave room for guests to line up without cutting across the bar, a walkway, the dance floor or the path to restrooms. For larger counts, plan the approach from one side and the exit from the other so the line keeps moving.

Service window

The package includes two hours of live-chef service. Decide whether it runs as part of the meal or as a later moment, fix the start time against the run of show so it does not open during toasts or a program block, and confirm any change in writing.

Property and Village approval

Ask the owner or their representative what an outside caterer must provide, whether live cooking is permitted in the intended position, and which of those items also has to be confirmed with the Village. Get it in writing.

Weather fallback

South Florida heat and afternoon storms are planning inputs, not surprises, and a waterfront setting adds wind. Identify an indoor or covered alternate position for the station and agree in advance who makes the call and by when.

Coordination

Share the property contact, floor plan and timeline early so the station position, power and service window are settled before the final proposal. Contact the team with whatever details you already have.

Questions

Before you reserve in Indian Creek Village

What is included in the pasta station for an Indian Creek Village event?

The published station includes a choice of three pasta varieties, three sauces and two proteins, plus fresh ingredients and finishing toppings, buffet setup and decoration, and two hours of live-chef service. Final pasta, sauce and protein selections are confirmed in your written proposal.

How much does a pasta station cost in Indian Creek Village, FL?

The current published starting price is $19 per guest with a 25-guest minimum. Delivery, taxes, upgrades, availability, venue requirements and the final total are confirmed in the written proposal, and current pricing is shown on the product page.

Can we book a public venue in Indian Creek Village?

The official Village website does not publish a general public event-rental program. Indian Creek Village is residential and access is tightly controlled, so plan the pasta station around a private property you are authorized to use rather than assuming a public site is available. Confirm what is possible directly with the property and the Village.

Does VNV Events have automatic access to the island?

No. Vendor access is never automatic. The host or the property must obtain authorization and clear our team and vehicles. Vendor approval, security screening, access windows and rules for temporary equipment such as tents, generators and live cooking setups are confirmed directly with the property and the Village before the date is treated as firm. VNV Events does not apply for, obtain or guarantee permits, property authorization or island access.

What does the pasta station need from the property?

A covered cooking and service area, a safe venue-approved power source close to the station, and a clear load-in path from where vehicles are allowed to stop. Also plan room for the guest queue, an agreed service window for the included two hours of live-chef service, and a weather fallback. Exact power, placement and access requirements are confirmed with the property before the proposal is finalized rather than assumed.

Can vegetarian, vegan or allergy needs be accommodated?

Dietary directions should be raised while the pasta, sauce and protein selections are being made. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy-related accommodations are reviewed case by case and confirmed in the written proposal along with the final selections.
