Questions
Before you reserve
What is included in the pasta station for a Medley event?
The published station includes a choice of three pasta varieties, three sauces and two proteins, plus fresh ingredients and finishing toppings, buffet setup and decoration, and two hours of live-chef service. Final selections are confirmed in your written proposal.
How much does a pasta station cost in Medley, FL?
The current published starting price is $19 per guest with a 25-guest minimum. Delivery, taxes, upgrades, availability and the final total are confirmed in the written proposal, and current pricing is shown on the product page.
Do I need an application or permit for a live cooking station in Medley?
It depends on the location and the event. Town guidance is that special events on public or private property require an application submitted at least ten days before the event date, and the package includes insurance and a site plan. VNV Events does not apply for, obtain or guarantee permits or approvals; the host, venue or planner must confirm current requirements directly with the Town of Medley.
What does the Town of Medley expect on a site plan?
The site plan is expected to show concessions, tents, electricity, water, emergency routes and parking. Because a pasta station is live cooking equipment, name it on the plan and have it cleared rather than assuming it passes as ordinary catering. We provide the station footprint, power needs and placement details so your paperwork describes what actually arrives.
Can the station be set up in a Town of Medley facility?
Town rental rules require approval for unusual equipment brought into the space, and vendors working the event are required to carry insurance. A pasta station is live cooking equipment, so name it in the request and ask which documents are wanted and when they are due, since that timeline runs alongside the ten-day application window rather than after it. Confirm with the Town before the layout is finalized.
What does the station need on site at a warehouse or office park?
Plan for a covered cooking area, a safe power source approved by the venue, a clear load-in path to the station position, room for a guest queue that does not block circulation or working aisles, an agreed service window for the included two hours of live-chef service, and a weather contingency. Exact venue requirements are confirmed in the written proposal.
Can vegetarian, vegan or allergy needs be accommodated?
Dietary directions should be raised while selections are being made. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy-related accommodations are reviewed case by case and confirmed in the written proposal along with the final pasta, sauce and protein choices.
