Questions
Before you reserve
What is included in the pasta station for a Tamarac event?
The published station includes a choice of three pasta varieties, a choice of three sauces and two protein selections, plus fresh ingredients and finishing toppings, buffet setup and decoration, and two hours of live-chef service. Final selections, dietary accommodations, delivery, taxes, upgrades, availability, venue requirements and the total are confirmed in your written proposal.
How much does a pasta station cost in Tamarac, FL?
The current published starting price is $19 per guest with a 25-guest minimum. Delivery, taxes, upgrades, availability and the final total are confirmed in the written proposal, and current pricing is shown on the product page.
Do I need a permit for a live pasta station in Tamarac?
It depends on where you are hosting. A City of Tamarac room or shelter runs on a Facility Use Permit Application and the applicable fees, while a clubhouse or a private home runs on the association's or owner's approval. Community Development's application forms include a Temporary Use Permit and a Food Truck Approval Application, so ask the City which, if any, applies to your setup rather than assuming. VNV Events does not apply for, obtain or guarantee permits or facility reservations.
Can the pasta station be set up in a City of Tamarac room or picnic shelter?
City meeting and community rooms, and the picnic shelters at Caporella Park, Sunset Point Park, Tamarac Sports Complex and Tephford Park, are reserved through the City, and reservations must include set-up and clean-up time inside the contracted block. Rental hours and sunrise-to-sunset shelter hours limit late service, and a shelter roof is not the same as a controlled cooking area, so walk the space before committing. Confirm current rules, fees and hours with Parks and Recreation at (954) 597-3620.
What does the pasta station need on site?
Plan for a covered cooking and service area, a safe power source the venue has approved for catering equipment, a clear load-in path to the station position, room for the guest queue, an agreed service window for the included two hours of live-chef service, written venue approval for onsite cooking, and a weather fallback position. Exact venue requirements are confirmed in the written proposal.
Can vegetarian, vegan or allergy needs be accommodated?
Raise vegetarian, vegan and allergy-related needs while the three pastas, three sauces and two proteins are being selected. Accommodations are reviewed case by case and confirmed in the written proposal.
