Questions
Before you reserve
What is included in the pasta station for a Wilton Manors event?
The published station includes a choice of three pasta varieties, three sauces and two proteins, plus fresh ingredients and finishing toppings, buffet setup and decoration, and two hours of live-chef service. Final selections are confirmed in the written proposal.
How much does a pasta station cost in Wilton Manors, FL?
The current published starting price is $19 per guest with a 25-guest minimum. Delivery, taxes, upgrades, availability and the final total are confirmed in the written proposal, and current pricing is shown on the product page.
Do I need a Special Event Application for a live cooking station in Wilton Manors?
It depends on how the event is structured. The City requires a Special Event Application when an event meets two of its published criteria, which include events open or advertised to the general public, events involving the sale of food, beverages, merchandise or services or that charge admission, events needing two or more support services such as parking or traffic control, police special detail, emergency medical services, portable toilets or trash collection, and events that close public amenities to their normal use. Filing deadlines and fees scale with expected attendance, starting at 15 days in advance for 100 people or fewer and 30 days for 101 to 250 people. VNV Events does not apply for, obtain or guarantee permits or approvals; the host, venue or planner must confirm current requirements with the City of Wilton Manors.
Can the pasta station be set up at Hagen Park Community Center or another City facility?
Leisure Services rents several City facilities, including Hagen Park Community Center, Island City Park Preserve, Richardson Historic Park, Mickel Park and the Island City Cultural Center, plus pavilions at several parks. A facility kitchen does not by itself decide where an outside live cooking station may stand, so confirm placement and vendor requirements with the City before locking in a date or guest count.
What does the pasta station need on site?
Plan for a covered cooking and service area, a safe power source the venue has approved for catering equipment, a clear load-in path to the station position, room for a guest queue that does not block circulation, an agreed service window for the included two hours of live-chef service, and a weather contingency. Exact venue requirements are confirmed in the written proposal.
Can vegetarian, vegan or allergy needs be accommodated at the pasta station?
Dietary directions should be raised while selections are being made. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy-related accommodations are reviewed case by case and confirmed in the written proposal along with the final pasta, sauce and protein choices.
